VECT has developed a professional power system to meet the real power and ergonomic needs of the new JVC GY- HD101EC ProHD camcorder. The new ET-JVC eliminates the dependence on small consumer batteries that lack the power demanded by professionals. This specially designed adapter supplies the proper regulated operating voltage to the GY- D101EC camera while providing the ability to use standard 12 volt video accessories such as on-camera lighting – all powered from the same high performance battery.
Mounting directly to the battery “box” and mechanically secured to the camera body the ET-JVCA(S) allows batteries to be used to extend the runtime of the camera and to power accessories that would otherwise have required additional batteries. A single 130Wh battery will operate the camera for up to six hours.
